Here's a little something for all you Husker fans.
Hi ya'll!
Guess who?

Friday, October 10, 2008

we had an awesome time with Kelly, Michelle, Joshua, Kaitylyn, Nathaniel and Caleb. We enjoyed the fish patchery, two rivers park, swimming at the community center(Dad even went down the slide twice), a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, carving jack-o-lanterns and making chocolate chip cookies together.

Ticket to South Padre Island, $$
Motel room on South Padre Island, $
Rental car, $

Seeing the sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico, Priceless!

A beautiful house on South Padre Island across the street from my motel room. That is until......

You see the other side with boarded up windows.
Atlantic Bottle-Nosed dolphins. It was fun to watch them.

South Padre Island. If it wasn't for the tourist industry, the island would be just another clump of sand. But the seafood it absolutely fabulous.

One way on & off South Padre Island. That's by taking the bridge in the distance. It's only about 3 miles, but a beautiful drive.

Hey where did everybody go?
Oh that's right, they are still waiting for the 11:00 am wake-up call.

Nothing like an early morning walk along the beach.

Now this is what you call seeing the sun come up. It was a beautiful morning on South Padre Island.
